Rockslide Brew Pub & Restaurant has rolled out the newest late night event- the Rhythm & Brews Summer Concert Series!.
The concert series will take place on 4th & Main during four dates throughout the summer season – June 20, July 25, August 22, & September 5. Rhythm & Brews begins immediately after the Downtown GJ Farmers Market. On the selected dates, the Market will be an open beer garden from 3rd-7th Street on Main. I was raised in Moab Utah with four brothers. My dad owned Pioneer Drilling Company and we spent lots of time in and around the Moab area prospecting for uranium. Trips to Grand Junction were two hours away, but it was considered normal to come over for shopping, doctor appointments, picking up parts for the drill rig, or a good time. I treasure a letter written to my dad and grandfather from Grand Junction in 1954 telling them their Geiger Counter was ready for pick-up.
